I noticed tonight that my turn signal indicator for left turns is out. The bulbs and signal are working fine, but the little green arrow in my dash is out. Is there an actual bulb back there to replace?

Yup.

So... a little update on this. It's been on my back burner so I haven't really done anything with it. But the other day, it was working again. Then, out again the next few days. Then, this morning, working again. So the bulb clearly isn't the problem.

Right indicator (again, this is in-cab. Exterior lights consistently come on.) works all the time. Left, not so much.

It's still the bulb.

The contacts are soft lead and can wear over time. Corrosion etc.

It's loose. Replace and done.

It is quite easy to remove the cluster and pop anew bulb in.

This thread is for a complete dash removal but it will give you a look inside there. should make it clear and simple for ya.
