Insight on switching to the 06 Tail light

I did some research and I know some wiring has to be changed but I was wondering if anyone can actually tell me what they had to do to get it to work correctly. Looking for any type of info. Wiring schematics of one or both trucks tail lights. Anything that could help me. Thanks

Not sure about the wiring but for what it's worth I know the 06+ tail lights and entire tailgate will bolt on to a 02-05 body

Yea I know the hatch swaps over. The side mirrors do as well.
