Wasn't too hard. It came with a template for the X to drill. On the 94 the template sits way too close to the mirror. So I moved it more to the center of the door piller. Worked well. Glad I had my heavy duty hammer drill & a real sharp 1/2" drill bit. I had to drill through layers of sheet metal. Doesn't look like it will leak. I'll soon find out though. Wired it to the battery with a 20amp fuse. It was a pain to get the wire through the according wire thing. There's a screw that get drilled into the door that acts as the ground. Works fine. And is BRIGHT!

 Turned out nice.

If you had a white X with a whip antenna on top you could scare a lot of people. Undercover expeditions look just like your truck except white and bigger. I like it and i'm sure it will come in handy when you don't want to move your whole truck to move the lights. Good job, and hope it works for ya!

are you a cop or wanna be a cop?

Umm... I guess wanna be for now. I am a volunteer for the local Sheriff department.
The spotlight has alot of uses. It's great for the beach, or camping.
