Installed new batteries in my key-fob, do I need to "re-program" it??

I changed the batteries in one of out key fobs and it still doesn't work, is there a procedure I have to do to re-program a code in it?? Our other key-fob works fine. Thanks a lot guys.

You might have to. Go to the "Usefull Threads" forum - there are directions how to program the Key Fobs for the factroy alarm/keyless entry. I have a 97, and the procedure worked perfectly. You need a working remote. The short is:

Turn the key from off to run five times within ten seconds and end in run. Hit a button on the working transmitter. Hit the button on the new transmitter.
