Installing power seats in a 96' Sport?

My wife has a 96' Explorer Sport and loves the truck except for the lack of power seats. I know that power seats where an option, but is the electrical connector there, just waiting for the power seats to be plugged in? Also, do the power seats in the 95-01 Explorer elevate the driver (she is short and needs the up & down)? Thanks!

Knowing Ford and other things about the X, the plug should be there for the power seats. But don't take my word for it. And yes, the stock power seats do elevate the driver, about 2.5".
