Brandon,
You're Welcome! Good deal! Glad it worked!

It's amazing what all you can do with a ball joint press!

I just finished my shackle install about 1/2 an hour ago. Ran down to the post office to mail a letter with it and all is well! The top edge of my garage door opening is starting to get mighty close! I have to take off my Surco Safari Rack to be able to fit it in the garage as it is!!

When I started the install, I measured the rear bumper at the bottom and it was at 25"... After it is 28"!!! I was only expecting a 1 1/2" raise but what the hell, I'm not complaining!! I really like the added rear wheel well clearance I have now!

Ryan1 is coming over tomorrow to help me put in my front coil spacers (2" Daystars). That should level out the X pretty close.

Lets see some pics when you're done with it! :)

Jim,
Sounds like you are right there with me, I measure in at 29 inchs at the rear bumper, your ex looked sweet before, gotta post pics of the after. Which direction did you push the frame bushing out, I have had daystars for it for a year now, and have been putting it off, now with the added height of 4 inch springs and warrior I am thinking I need to install.

Thanks. I'll post some pic's when it stops drizzling outside. I pushed the bushing out towards the fender. More room for the impact wrench that way.

Well, the sun came out today, so here's some pics of the spacers.

we got some light snow, so of course they salted the living daylights out of the streets which explains all the white dust on everything.

Got the front end aligned this morning at took the pics when I got back. Handles as good as before and with the rear shackles it's finally sitting level!

Here's a pic of my X after the S&S (Shackle & Spacer) install:

Jim,
Looks great, does it feel top heavy?

Thanks! No, it feels good! Handles well at freeway speeds too!

I think I will stop at 8" of total lift for now. I'm also going to stay with 33's, as 35's seem to destroy TTB front ends pretty regular!

Gotta love the ground clearance now! :)

Good deal, I may try that, I was thinking 7 inch national coils, then spring over my rear 4 inch lift springs. I agree on the 33's, I do not get a huge amount of time in offroading so the 33's are good for me, Ii have 10 inch crawlers coming for them now, hope I didn't go too wide.

I had 10" A/R nuggets on my old Kelly Safari AWR's and they rubbed against the extended radius arms at full turns. I may? be getting the Kellys back and if I do, I'll be using 1" wheel spacers on them to gain enough clearance.

Try 'em and see.
