A few months ago I was posting on here about buying and installing some Kenwood Excelon speakers. I haven't posted on here in a while as I have had computer problems (If you're in the market for a new one, do NOT buy a Toshiba!!).
Then, I have had 2 wrecks in the past month!

I know that you have to buy an adapter to connect the speakers, but before realizing it, I cut the connector on the drivers side. I think that there is a way to install them without the piece I cut off buy twisting wires or something? I have had these new speakers sitting in the garage for a while and would really like to get them installed.

Any info would really be appreciated!
Thanks!!

you can splice wires to install the speakers. just make sure the positve is connected to positive, and the negative to negative.

^^^ that's what I did for my pioneer's. worked fine, and wasn't much of a hassle.

I know this probably sounds stupid, but how do you split the wires?

The best way is to solder the wires on. But if you can not do this most stereo shop will have crimp on terminals that you can use to connect the wires to the speakers.
