Hello,

I asked this in another forum, but I think this is a more appropriate forum. I want to install an roof mount antenna for a gps unit. What is the easiest way to run the cable from inside the car outside to the roof?

thanks for your help

Larry

Run it along the headliner above the doors to the back. You can just push the wire under the rubber trim there assuming it's a thin wire like I had on my GPS antenna.

Then run it out the top of the rear hatch. I pulled back the weatherstripping at the top of the hatch and cut a small notch in the metal for the wire to pass through. I wrapped a few turns of tape around the wire to protect it and then just pushed the weatherstripping back down over it. My antenna is right at the back edge of the roof and its wire just drops down into the crack where the hatch starts. Looks sweet.
