Intake humming......

I have a '96 and some times, about 40% of the time there is a loud "humming" coming out of the intake tube. I took the filter off and its coming out of there like a freakin horn. Doesn't matter if the engine is warm or cold, but it does go away after you bring up the RPM's, but as it drops back down here comes the hum. Any advice? Thanks

Yup, the IAC is your problem.

Replace the entire unit.
