OK guys...this is the classic KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid).

I replaced the TPS, no change.

I said well I guess I have to tear her down again to inspect.

I took the plenum off and there lay the most lovely sight on the world...

A disconnected injector harness!!!

On 2 of the injector harnesses the retaining clips broke, so the clip could just slide on and off of the injector.

It must have come loose when I was putting everything back together.

Started her up, she runs like a top!!!

Heh, I'd give you a hand.

I AM a little pissed because after thinking my pinging went away, it didn't!!!

I'll see if I at least use less oil.

Some days it pings like crazy, some days it hardly does it at all.

I'm surprised I'm not getting a check engine light so I can run codes.

I cleaned my MAF, it looks new. EGR hasn't been replaced , and I don't want to just replace it and hope that's the problem. It's $$$, well like 100$.

I've tried higher octane gas (plus-grade) and it made no difference.

Oh, I seafoamed, too. Twice.

You might want to see a doctor about that rash... :D Just kidding, man. Glad you got the easy one fixed. Good luck on the pinging problem.

Evil...that looks like one SWEEEET 250 SD!!!
