I was working on finding an upgrade for my wife's stereo for her Camry and ran across this new breed of aftermarket stereos.
Kenwood has partnered with iDataLink to create a stereo that interfaces with advanced vehicle control systems (climate, etc.)
It's not MFT compatabile yet but given their support and other vehicles supported I would expect it's just a matter of time...

Maybe it's just wishful thinking, but it sure looks like this would fit the bill.
Given the # of MFT units out there, I'm sure someone will run with this.
