First post.
I have been reading up on post with similar problems and decided to add mine to list as I can't find exactly what I'm looking for.
Truck was in accident springtime 2013, repaired.
The passengers side front door was hard to open from accident and still requires more lift of handle to open.
A few weeks later door ajar light started coming on intermittently with accompanying chime. I did research and sprayed door contacts with lube, no joy. I could not live with the chime so found out where chime was located, (on motherboard behind gauges). Local repair shop wouldn't disable so I accomplished task with much wailing and knashing of teeth. Now the only issue is flickering dome lights and rear cab light.
Now to my question.
I found a door ajar sensor schematic that member posted a few years ago but not for my 2005. This schematic shows front passenger door ajar switch with yellow black wire in and black ground wire out. Is this true for the 2005? And can I defeat this by going into rubber boot at door hinge and wiring yellow black wire to black ground wire?
