Door Ajar Indicator gone NUTS!!!

ok I have read a few threads on the door ajar indicator having problems. I have a few questions for those who obviously have fixed theirs.

The problem, I drive this truck alone so the other doors don't get used as much. So the indicator of late has just been going on and off all the time. at times its intermittent.
Question 1: is there a fuse which controls the alarm on the dash I can just remove and be done with it?

Question 2 does each door have this sensor so I would need to check each door to find the problem one?

Question 3 how do you check to find the sensor with the problem.

Any help on this is very much appreciated.

When the engine is running and a door is opened a chime will sound. The offending door will not make the chime every time-just as it does not turn off the dome light every time.

The switch is in the door latch. If it is disconnected the truck never will see the door open.
