Door ajar indicator is on.

the door ajar light on my 2002 explorer is on and all my doors are closed i am wondering what the problem is

Possible cause could be a broken wire in the boot between the body and the driver's door. Others have had luck spraying WD-40 into the door at the hinges. There are a bunch of threads on here concerning the door-ajar problem. I recommend searching that first to get the low-down on using WD-40. If that fails then:

I have had your problem before. All you need to do is spray some wd40 in the door and there you go problem fixed hope this helps
