- 2010 Sport Trac Limited
Hi all,
I used to be on this discussion board under a different screen name 10 years ago when I had a 1998 Explorer Sport. I signed back up after recently taking possession of a 2010 Explorer Sport Trac Limited. I have been looking for one of these for at least the past six months. I looked a several rough ones, missed out on a really nice one and then found this ...
I am now third owner. The second owner had it since 2012 and it is obvious it was his baby. 85K miles. 4.0 V6 and rear wheel drive. It came with several NOS Ford parts that had yet to be installed, including a tailgate cap, and new black trims for the doors and keypad. It needed a new shifter cable and now that I have that sorted out, I am out driving it and having fun. I love the roll down back window and driving with that and the side windows open.
Thanks to info from research I did on this forum, I already have an Ironman black grille waiting in the garage. I also want to change the headlights and fogs to the black trimmed versions. I may lower it an inch or two.
I am very happy to be back. I really enjoyed my old Sport and look forward to my time with this Sport Trac.
