Is 3.25" BS too much and other ?

I will be adding 2.5" inch coils in front and shackles for rear. Planning on purchasing a set of the Eagle 589 15"x8" with 31x10.5" BFG's. While searching the 21 pages of posts concerning backspacing, I believe the stock backspacing is 4" for the 91-94's.

If I go with the 15x8 and a backspacing of 3.25", which is listed on 4wheelparts, that means that the wheels will stick out 1.75" farther than stock. Is this correct? I also think that it will be too much stress on the bearings. Thoughts?

Thanks

3.75" is probably best. 4WP probably has the tire/rim package you want, just call them to get that backspacing.

I second Alec's opinion. And stock is 4.5" :)

Well, I have been searching for a set of used Eagle's before I go with a new set. I have found what appears to be a good set, but the bad thing is they are 3.25" backspacing. I still am leery because I tend to agree with Alec, but has anyone else run 15"x8" 3.25" backspacing, and if so what problems have you run into.

Thanks
