I
Call Ford, find out when the in service date is.. if it is beyond 3 years, then pricing changes a bit. I paid under $1800 for a Ford Premium ESP for 6yr/125k. I can give you Joels # who sells them at cost to forum members.

It may be worth having Ford look at the coolant level before you buy... It should not be that low at 35k... they can pressure test and see if it is leaking

I never recommend a 3rd party warranty.

I'd be interested in that number. I'm coming up on 30k miles on my 2017 pretty soon...

I'd say you must!!!

As said by Peter, if original ESP is expired, it goes under the used car warranty, that is another ball game! Much less coverage.
If original is not expired, it is "an extension", much better coverage!!!

This is incorrect. A used ESP under 100k will still give you the same 4 plan options to choose from (premium, base, extra etc) which means the same coverage. However you convert your 75k, 100k ,125k and 150k options to now 12k increments (12k, 24k, 36k, 48k and 60k).

So although the items that are covered are the same, it is just less mileage available for a coverage term.
