yeah here the bumber cant be a certin distance from the ground

thats a set of coils, what about the rest of the susp?

you need drop brackets for the beams, either droped or extended radius arms, a new pitman, etc...

Like the last post said, that link you posted just had the coils. You're gonna need everything he said and more.

I wouldn't go higher than 6" on the TTB. Just doesn't seem safe and the steering would be almost impossible to get right.

the maximum lift without drop brackets and such is around 2".

It also depends on what you want to do with the truck. Do you just want big tires or do you just want to go sky high? Do you plan on actually using the truck and if so for what, rocks, mud or just some mild trail riding? There are difinitely alot of variables to consider before deciding how high you want to go. Listen to the people on this site, they are very knowledgable and have experimented with just about every setup you could think of. Take your time, research and then make a educated decision.

what about the brake lines abs wires there is a lot of stuff that changes once start lifting

1992 explorer has no abs and i has about 20 ft of break line on hand if any thing does need to be extended

this may be the wrong thread...and i know that 6 inches is pretty much the max you can lift the TTB.
but i have a 4 inch RC lift now (soa in the rear) and i will be going to 6 inches in a few months. i was looking at just doing AAL for the rear and 6 inch sky jacker springs in the front. my question is, will having 4 inch brakets work for a 6 inch spring? im thinking it should...as long as i get the skyjacker fa600 pitman arm right?
thanks guys

If you're talking about running 6" springs with brackets from a 4" lift kit, it 'SHOULD' be doable. Its basically the same thing as running 2" lift springs with no drop brackets.

i looking at it that way it does seem ok to do...plenty of people do the f150 coil seats and or a taller spring with no drop bracket. thanks

Skyjacker's coil springs often tend to come up a hair short anyway, so yeah, you should be fine.
