NICE eyes!  Kendall and I will get some pics for you guys this weekend. We're going to Disney, Oklahoma if anyone is familiar with that area.

Congrats scramblin, you're gonna love it, hehe. Hope you don't end up hating your IFS blocks hanging down like I do. Anyway, you might wanna call Superlift and ask em if you need torsion bar isolators, atleast if you're front starts to drop or anything. If you do a twist with the lift. Mine was sagging about 3" and the I put em in, now its like 1/2" diff, you can hardly tell.

Have some fun with it.

Hey Kendall and JD, Do you know that guy, I belive he is from Russelville or Clarksville, He has the Grand cherokee that is painted like a cow, maybe a zebra and he has 35's or 37s on it.

By the way you jeep kicks ass. what are the specs of it

Ryan

This is JD:

Yes I sure do know that guy. His name is John. Nice as can be!

It's a zebra pattern paint job.

He's got 37" swampers on it, but he just got some new tires, 38" I believe. It's VERY nice.

My stats... (man I really need to register my own name!)

'98 ZJ 5.9

Suspension:

7" coils
Long arms
True tri-link rear suspension, 4 link front
Crappy shocks.
35x12.50x15 GoodYear MT/Rs on 15" steelies
Old Man Emu steering stabilizer (SD40)

Drivetrain:

Stock axles (for now) D30 front D44 rear w/limited slip
SouthBay Driveline front u-joint/cardan driveshaft
NP241 Dodge transfer case (replacing the factory NP249 full-time case, AND the NP231 that I blew up...stupid 5.9!)
Modified skid plates
Magnum 5.9 v8
46RE transmission

Armor:

ARB Front bumper w/shackles and winch mount (no winch yet, though)
Custom (in my driveway) rear bumper
Kevin's Jeep Parts "Sliderz" rocker protection

Electronics:

Alpine head unit with MP3 capability
Cobra 19DX3 CB
Infinity Basslink
Viper 550esp Alarm w/ remote start

Performance:

K&N FIPK
Full mandrel bent 3" exhaust with Flowmaster 70 muffler - Factory polished tip (not so shiny now)

In the works:

Tire carrier
High Pinion D44 front axle with Detroit Electrac and 4.88 gears
Ford 9" rear axle with "regular" Detroit locker and 4.88 gearing as well
Slip yoke eliminator for the transfer case with another SouthBay Driveline driveshaft

That is all.

(Sorry, Kendall! Hey... your post count is going up!)

A 4in lift for a 96 x. I thought you couldn't lift 95-97 explorers cuz there were no lifts for them? What superlift did you get, cuz I need one like a crack head needs a hit.

xsport97 email gage he has one forsale at a damn good price...they are like 1600 new and he is selling his for 800bux.

The thing about 96 and 97 I believe the T-Bar mounts are welded on where as the 98 plus they are bolted on. you will have to do a little torching but will still work.

Email Ray labato he as the 4 inch on his 96

Ryan

I registered my own name heh...

I belive he has this kit:

Dead Link Removed

I could be wrong... but it looks like it.

...

Bluedemon... Thanks for the compliment... Nope i dont have any pics from the side. I will get some more pics ove the weekend in OK.. Hopefully

Digger.. Nope I was just taking some pictures in the mud. I am planning on getting new shocks so im not to worried about these. They are the worst riding shocks I have Ever owned!! I'm thinking about taking the pinstripe off and mabye debadging all of the other emblems also.

Ryan.. Yea it had been rainingall weekened in Rsvl so, every trail around there was muddy. For the front bumper, I have a buddy in Rsvl. thats going to build me one thats kinda like Ricks and then for the rear im going to come up with a bumper design using 1.5" tubing w/ a swing out tire carrier. I've seen the white striped jeep once but i dont know the guy.

Klowns.. Yea, the Lift really isnt that bad except the whole torsion bar thing. I definatly want to do a SAS swap sometime but, i will be fine for now.. I have some other things that need to be done first.

Ryan... I read that I would have to cut my old torsion bar mounts off or do some grinding or something. I did not have to do anything like that. There was just a bracket that bolts into the holes that the Torsion bar "skid plate" (cover) bolts into.

Thanks to all for the compliments and thanks JD for posting with your name now... :)

Heres a shot of where the Torsion BAr Isolator goes:

Looks great Scramblin'!! :)
Xsport97... Like Ryan1 said there are Superlift and Trailmaster lifts avail. (I believe Ray Lobato has the Trailmaster and complains about the 'steering slide' and wider turning radius). Good luck.

Nice pix of the Ex and ZJ!!

Sploder is lookin good! Not my first choice of tires... But to each his own :)

The ZJ... Looks sharp! Flex looks good too!

Looks good, are you running 8 inch wheels?

...

X-1.. Yes I am running a 15 x 8 w/ 3.75BS...
I did have to trim my fenders some but it was easy to do on my XLT since I dont have any fender flares or anything. I will get some shots of the trimming this weeekend (and some trail pics)

kendal

Good deal, I am also going to 35's, but have not decided on 8 or 10 inch wheels. Yours looks good on 8's
