Jackit or Skyjacker??? HELP

OK i need help on deciding between a SJ 6" class 2 Lift or a Jackit 6" premium lift kit???? I just dont know what to go with....... im torn???

Can't use blocks in the rear. That would lower it. You'd have to so the SOA coversion to get 5.5" of lift. Or new leafs.

I have never heard of the jackit lift...Thats new to me. I know the skyjacker is a very good one. Also you do have the option of SuperLift with is cheaper than skyjacker. If your going hard core..get skyjacker. if your going a little lighter wheeling get SL

i looked at the superlifts and i like the price but the contents of the lift doesnt impress me too much......... are you happy with your superlift...and did u have to buy ne extra parts aside from the extended brake lines????

In the three years I have been here, I have never heard of any member having the jackit lift on their rig. In fact, the first time I had ever heard of the kit was just a couple of weeks ago. The person that mentioned it, mentioned that it was a kit consisting of the "best" pieces of various other kits. Other than that, I don't think there is much info out there for them on Explorers.


And for the amount of $$$ they want for it, I would hope that it is made of platinum!! That SJ kit you have there is also too much $$$$$.............shop around, there are better prices out there.

I love the lift, i have done some pretty hard stuff and its going great. And mine is used..I bought if from derrick here. I had to buy a lot more things when I got it since it was used. Im not sure what the new packages come with.

i've heard so many bad things on here about the superlift as far as parts breaking.....but then i have heard stuff about the skyjacker kits being crappy too.... seeing how everyone and their brother in the fourum has a 5.5 superlift i didnt think they could be 2 bad...i just dont know..... i need opinions!!!

I put the 4" Superlift kit in Explorereb96's X (see http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80310 ) and the components were pretty well built. She's had it out wheeling several times since I did the install with no problems.
