Jacques on the outs???

There was an article in today's NY Times reporting sources within Ford are saying Jacques Nasser will be gone by the end of the year. Ford (of course) denies the report....... I wonder if all the heat (Firestone, new model recalls, slumping shares, halved dividend payment, etc.) has finally become too much for him (or Bill Ford and the board of directors) to bear?

Sounds good to me! Hopefully they will get someone in there with some balls that will accually be an inovator instead of a copier.

The way I see it, if it wasn't for Jack we would still be driving gingerly on our stock Firestones. Sound like the shareholders didn't like the drop in stock prices when Jack did the right thing and took the reins regarding the Firestone tire problem and made the customer happy. I am. Thanks Jack.
