i took those ranger wheels from work..... we were going to scrap them... i figured, we have explrcnvrtbl, moms 96 x and dads 98 ranger... a pair of ranger wheels should come in handy one day
i also noticed today while under it, that it has a 3" or 4" lowering block in the rear, and a magnaflow muffler and a catco cat convertor (never heard of catco, but think its probably after market, as stock would prob say toyota on it, and it has a 1/2" pipe that comes off of it that is just capped off......)

hmmm. after i get it smogged, i may hack off the magnaflow and put on my flowmaster...... its a 4 cylinder, but it sounds beefy with the magnaflow so i bet the flowmaster 40 would make it sound terrorising
but not ricey........ we will see, dont want to do any modding until i get the registration/dmv stuff all up to snuff
what in your people's opinion sound better on it? its the toyota 22r engine carbed, and does sound pretty beefy with the magnaflow... should i cut off the magnaflow and put on my flowmaster 40 series not delta? or just leave the magnaflow? i do like the noise my flowmaster had... but not sure if it will just make it louder or make it sound ricey on the 4 banger?
ok, have compliled a mod list to start after i get it all registered and smogged and all that stuff in my name.....
seatcover-pedals-shift knob-1" lift block for the rear(replacing 3" block)-toolbox-herculiner type roll on bed liner-different speaker boxes that allow me to put them behind the seat(current box is too big)-K&N type air filter- clear turn signals(dont have any fronts currently)-make a cubbyhole below my head unit(for cell phone)-ratchet straps(essential!!)
possible-- billet grill, diamond headlights/bulb upgrade to hid type bright bluish ones , clear corner lights
just had an idea... my seat is torn up in hte toyota... i have a seat in my explorer rear.... think the bench will swap over? i can probably fabricate my own mounts..... a coworker got some recaro type seats for his civic... he didnt have real seat brackets to fit, so he went to hmoe depot and made some out of water heater strapping!.... they work, thats all that counts
One advice Jim, make that seat bracket strong and secured! No playing games with those. That is one thing that will hold you in place (assuming you have your seat belt on) in a head on collision.
i know that... just thinking... should i try to fab some up? i wont be near as shetto as my coworker.. i have a welder, and know how to weld things.... i would rather do a quality job than just a quick one
