I need to do my 2000,the carpets are horrifying.But a gal I know says she can clean them so I'm gonna let her have a go at both of mine.If she can't get them clean I will be posting similar photos.

A lot of the dirt and grime and stuff will come out with an extractor, I guess I have a few thoughts on it though-

If I take it out, I can clean the goop out of the console crannies, it's completely disgusting. I can clean the carpet under the seats and between them, etc., since there is some horror that you really can't get to well with everything in place. Also, I can blast it out, and let the carpet completely dry before putting it back in- and the jute backing holds a lot of water. I don't worry about having wet carpets, or worse yet- wet jute holding moisture against the floor. It lets me also clean up the floor, vac up all of the rocks and junk underneath, and just do a general once-over of the whole rig...

Carpet is drying downstairs with a fan on it, will continue working on it this weekend...

Thats cus ive went through 2 grinding wheels already and 6 batteries....battery powered sucks! (And theres still alot of ugliness)
