Howdy all,
Just joined today and looking for some help. I have a '01 Ranger the check engine light came on about two weeks ago while on freeway on-ramp. Did the usual (check gauges, connectors, fluid levels) all normal.

Vehicle had right under 100,000 miles, when the aforementioned usual checks were normal, I thought the check engine light might be programmed for the 100K routine service check.

Wife drove truck on I-10 while accelling vehicle shut down hasn't started since.

Currently all fluid levels are ok no signs of leaks etc.
No fuses blown.
No wires disconnected.
Codes pulled: P0303; P0351; P0352; P0353
Any help/advise greatly appreciated.

Still no joy

Replaced coil and spark plugs, still will not start. Doesn't even sputer. Checked fuel pressure valve on manifold for possible air gap, no air gap just fuel.

Any thoughts? Could it be the plug wires?

Again, nothing other than changing oil, air fiilter etc. ever done.

Thanks again.

Pulled plug and wire, reattached plug and grounded to manifold, rolled engine--no spark. Any ideas?

Is there an inline fuse, relay, sensor, module or the like that could cause this? Any ideas or thoughts appreciated.

Getting closer, it sputters but won't start

Still working on 01' Ranger (3.0L) M/T, all info as before basically same. I've replaced both the crankshaft and camshaft sensors, the truck now sputters but just won't start. Still getting fuel, double checked all the connectors and fuses--that I could find or even imagine that are possibly related. Can't really pull any new codes since vehicle won't start. Still wondering if it could be the plug wires?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Verify that the impact safety switch (aka fuel cut-off switch) didnt trip .. it should be on the passenger's side kick-panel.

Checked inertia fuel shut off switch, switch not tripped.

Did you ever figure out this issue? I have a similar issue.
