no i was saying those would have to be off with it in the truck to be able to put the covers on. pushrods will be here tuesday so if the engines in monday come wednesday just throw the pshrods in, put the tensioner and ac lines back on and plug up some wires and start it while its still daylight.

if theyd let me take a day off, then yea all day wednesday to do it but i cant

did they give you a tracking number?thats fine but im thinking that ypipe is going to take most of the day Monday just to get out,then it would be dark as hell out,not ideal for dropping in motor and we would be tired from the fight!! so if you had the rods by Monday we could finish the motor in the garage wile it was dark out. put it in and only have wiring to do wed.but it all depends on when you get the rods and if i get gas loot!!noway it takes 7 days for them to get delivered,i got them in three days but they used usps

it takes 5 days, but its not counting weekends. no tracking, i suppose i could ask, but ups knows their delivery times. i deal with ups, it will take 5 days, 7 days with no delieveries on the weekend. it would be awesome to get it monday, but i doubt it.

id just pick you up, prob cheaper to use my gas then pay for your 95 10mpg lol

i just shouldve got 3rd day shipping. anyway depening on if they do ahppen to show up mondya or not will dertermine what we do.

ill try to see if i can find something at auzone again to cut that pipe. nothing works. i need like a 5" wheel cutter or a very short sawzall

rubber gasket for valve covers right? autozone has a solid molded one, used a small magnet and didnt pick up any metal rings on the bolt holes tho.

they also failed to install my ps pulley. i tried the advance auto and they didnt even have any installers(which you buy not rent....)
so autozones getting a new set, he marked it as damaged. hopefully by monday i can get that thing on

checked the site, they only have that one and the cork. try a bigger magnet to see if theres rings in them? it was a small pen magnet i tried

You would be able to see them,sometimes come in a bag and you put them in.ask brandon for a part number!

I always install those 2 dry. Especially since they do come off sometimes, and you want the gasket to stay in one piece.

I also istalled mine dry but a small thin film never hurts
