i have plans for the being low part, but this task had to come first.
eh, yours is getting kinda cluttered, but i do have less room still

he told me he was going for sure.

i want my plates to get here! lol

edit: worst its even been! washed my hair 3 times to get the water clear!

Yup, so far I'll be there. But I need the date to get closer to be 100% sure..

^^^hhah thats all i got out of it too!!
Yea i had to use two soap bars to get clean!!! My head is swollen and black and blue.i got cuts and missing pieces of skins every where!!!hahah like the pic of me covered in oil wearing my BUILT FORD TOUGH shirt in the first pic!!hahaha

lol i brought some orange cleaner with me, helped a lot.
yea im missing a couple chunks too. that shirt was nice until 5.30 lol

my trucks too damn low, i can see your whole taillight in my back glass lol
and that damn red gasket crap you put on, ick :/

Haha yea just noticed that too!!your camera make that gasket crap stick out like a sore thumb, should have bought black!!

well i did some editing. i shouldve lowered the vibrance of the reds so itd be less noticeable lol

umm, im gonna go pick up all my fluids today, how much tranny fluid do i need? a little bit leaked from the converter also so ill get 1qt extra for that. but how much would i need to refill the pan?

IIRC, pan is 6 quarts.. Been a long time since I bought "just enough" and ran an a4ld. I just buy a couple cases and leave the rest in the shed for "fluid changes"

i would say you need more because of having a new radiator also,i would guess 8 idk

the max is like 10qt i think. to fill completely.
true tho, and my aux cooler has been leaking out dry too. i guess ill just get 3 gals

ok. vacuum line diagram. does this look right?

and i have a MAP also with a vac line on it, where would that go?

ok its not a MAP but a BAP and no vacuum line is needed

Ford used the same sensor (MAP) in a speed density system which did indeed have a vac hose hooked to the manifold. When they changed to a MAF system they removed the vac hose from the manifold and the sensors job changed. When it is used in a MAF system it is called a BAP sensor (barometer air pressure sensor). Its sole purpose is to determine altitude-that is it. The MAF will determine 100% of fueling.-j

I would buy 10 and run the lines dry

run them dry as in, start the truck with the yet-to-be-cooled fluid line disconnected so it drains itself? if i do that i need mroe then 10, to keep the tranny full until it shoots out red fluid.

ok, bap makes sense. one less thing to fix lol
does that drawing look correct?

yea pis looks right.yea i would run it for a bit till it looks like its almost dry add a quart or two and quit when it looks like its about to go dry or the sec it does then change it.might help to buy some lucas help slip band conditioner

hey uhh jd.... i read through 'the bible' some and it said when replacing the cam its a must to replace lifters and vise-versa. ? :/

well i got my gaskets and fluids. 3 gallons of tranny fluid should be enough.
didnt get much done due to going to dinner and it being dark after. all i did was find a mounting spot for the fan controller

Its not a must but good idea.as you could tell how many problems we were having finding good one and getting them clean.roller lifers dont wear as bad

You get the rods today?

well i wasnt looking for it at the time, but now i understand why you pressed what hole they came from. i didnt know to look for wear marks in the bores compared to the lifters. i hope you noticed lol :/

umm 'today' just happened 40 minutes ago. :P: so no. i sent an email asking for tracking but never got an answer. im gonna send another one to a different addy this time.
hopefully they do come today.
