picked the following on my pilgrimage to the junk yard.

1) brake line from master to front junction box. I had a slight kink from a master cylinder replacement many moons ago. Its right a the MC not bad but at least I have a new line so I can fix when it gets cooler.

2)computer, well just because I wanted a spare.

3)power amp for radio, again just because.

4)heater control valve, figured it cant hurt to shut off the hot water to the heater core when AC set to max.

5)some window switches, to take care of the misc window switch problems that seem to pop up.

I really only went for the heater control valve (not on my 92) but while there I could not pass up on the other stuff.

I did see a very nice complete AC system from a later model exp, think it was a 99, it looked prestine under the hood, I was tempted to try an pull the entire system intact so I would not have to worry about recovering the 134a, but was not sure that can even be done, and I was running out of energy (the heat was getting to me).

well spent a bit of time before it got dark routing the vacuum line from the max ac servo (added a T so vacuum will go to the heater control servo when max AC is selected) thru the firewall at the plug that exits under the blower motor.

I connected it to the valve to make sure no air leaks and the servo acted as it should (pass thru with no vacuum, recirculate bypassing the heat with vacuum).

With that test done it just comes down to cutting the heat hoses and making the 4 connections. I will shoot some video tomorrow showing my work.

There's nothing like a good day of pickin at the salvage yard.

I miss the old days of junk yards that were only there for parts and you could count on what was there, and where it was. not like today where their main goal is the crusher and they don't care about the parts (but they'll sure charge you up the yang for them)

saw a recent arrival that if still there I may go pick, it had a very fresh looking FS10, considering mine war replaced nearly 13 yrs ago I figure I am due..

would also like to pic the condensor, think it was a 98, not sure if the one on my 92 is large enough for R134a (when I eventually end up converting it).
