just bought a 1993 ranger and have no power steering please help!

I just bought my first truck it is a 93 4.0 auto and it has no power steering it is leaking power steering fluid I was told the pump/pully was replaced with a new used one but still have no power steering any ideas on what it could be?

When you say you are leaking fluid, do you mean it is leaking fluid now? If so where is it leaking from? Is it a stream of fluid, or a slow leak, It could be a split or broken hose, or a loose/damaged connector. If you are leaking from the pressure side of the pump, that would cause a lack of power steering.

it looks like it has been leaking/spraying fluid on the left side of the pump it has fluid in it now I will be able to get a better look at it in the morning.

Well figured id post here since my power steering pump just stopped working out of the blue , i drained fluid - it was green , re filled and still nothing , also i jacked it up removed tires while i did the drain and fill , power steering pump made noise whenever it worked , stopped working and no noise ! , Is it the Pump or my steering box ?
