First, where can I pick up just the magazine for the stock 6 disc changer in the arm rest??

Second, the exhaust is ticking from what seems like the drivers side manifold. I know they're common for cracking... Just making sure.

Third, the current owner does not know the pass code for the push button on the door, next to the handle.

Forth, I would think this would have come with a keyless entry remote?

I just bought this today, and I'm going to put about a grand in it tomorrow to get it back to running perfect. Plugs, wires, exhaust manifold, trans flush, filter, LF hub bearing, pads and rotors all the way around with park brake shoes... shocks all the way around... Just normal maintanence, just catching it up.

Let me know!
Thanks,
Nick

1. Don't know. The dealer would probably have it but would charge an arm and a leg.

2. Cracks in the exhaust manifolds on the 5.0 are pretty common. If you plan on modding the truck in the future then instead of replacing the manifold with a stock one throw a set of torque monster headers on there.

First: Try ebay

Second: Leave manifold alone

Third: Code for door is on a label attached to an electronic component above the left rear wheelwell that visible through the opening where the jack is stored. You might have to contort your nreck to see it.

Fourth: Remotes can be bought at mykeylessremote.com

Thanks, Scucci! I will check the PN tomorrow and order it!

Firepop5, I bought some remotes also on Ebay, and I already replaced the manifold. :)

2. Check the EGR first. Those go pretty fast.

Is it pre-February 97 or post, this difference is the heads and wither you have the internal or external EGR. Also 5 or so HP!! :) Pre feb 97 is just the GT40 heads, internal EGR and less ponies, post is the GT40P heads. Obviously external EGR and more HP
