Watch out, it's not advised to use both a gasket and sealant together. I did so on my ranger quite a few years ago and it doesn't seal well. The sealant needs both sides, even if you put the sealant on both sides of the gasket it's not going to work long. I ended up replacing the whole rear axle when the fluid leaked out (only under highway speeds because I never had a leak on the new driveway where it was parked). My advice is to use only the permatex sealant, do not use the gasket.
