Just got a 10" jl what amp and how to hook it up?

Like the tittle says i just got a jl 10w3v2 and i need to know what size amp i should use with this sub? also how should i hook it up with the 2 voice coils, should i hook them together and to a mono amp or a 2 ch bridged amp, or should i hook each to left and right of a 2 ch amp?

What ohm load is it? If it is a dual 2 ohm, you want a 2-ch so you can do a 4 ohm load at the amp. If it is a dual 4 ohm, you want a mono amp so you can have a 2 ohm load at the amp. As far as power, I recommend around 250-400 watts. I ran 250 to my 10W3v2-D2. It railed!

If you do have a dual 4 ohm sub I recommend JL's A1400D. I put one in my buddy's Superduty runnin' two 10W1v2's. Sounds great.
