Just installed my tow hooks

Kinda hard to tell from the picture being so small, but is it pointed towards the engine bay with the hook on the bottom of the frame rails?

It seems to me that wouldn't be a very strong way to mount it. As you put force on it, it only has one bolt holding it to the chassis, and it's going to want to pull the bottom of the hook upwards and into the bumper and possibly bend your bumper mounts. Granted, that's only likely to happen if you're really, really tugging right there.. I think you'd be better off drilling into the frame rails, and either mounting it directly, or using the smallest solid spacer necessary to clear the hook. You can use carriage bolts and tabs to keep the bolts from spinning inside the frame rails if you decide to do that.
