These went on my stock 2001 Eddie Bauer (yeah it has running boards, and no the tires do not rub on the boards) These are 31.5" if i remember right. 11 inches wide and look pretty sweet. Nice roadhandling cherectoristics and did nice in light snow. we do not have enough snow yet to see how they will do in heavy snow, but i'll keep you posted. In gravel parking lot they did nice, though they tended to throw stones.

These tires are far cheaper then the BFG All terrain KO and from the looks of it and the rating on tire rack's website..I think these tires may be a far nicer tire...in every aspect...the wet and dry traction on tire racks site was far better on the REVO, the treadlife is longer, the tire is quieter, and it is a lot cheaper. if you guys need new tires, check these out!

Any pictures? I am interested in changing to that size early next year from my current 265 75R16 LTX ATs. I am looking for something a bit wider than my current tire with a little more open tread pattern. I don't want to go any taller than I've already gone since towing a heavy trailer into the mountains already causes me to wind out my motor.

Never mind, I didn't realize that Bridgestone/Firstone made the Dueler tires. I'll keep looking. It does look like a pretty cool tire. Maybe post an update in a few months to let me know if you are still happy with them. I might reconsider.

One tire I am considering is the Pirelli Scorpion Zero P285/65R-16.

i have been thinking of that size as a possibility for my next tire.

bf goodrich makes the a/t ko in the 275 70 16

i am currently running the 265 75 16 wrangler ats

i would like to get back some acceleration

the draw back is the 275s are like 25 bucks more a tire, plus they are hard to get. (usually not in stock and they have to be ordered)

I don;t think that the brand should be an issue. I will report how they do in the deep snow this winter and how they do on the highway (75-80MPH).
Also that tire defects site looks like a pretty much 1 sided site...it has dirt on just about every tire manufacture out there. We have had 2 sets of Dualer A/S on our van and 2 other sets of bridgestone on my dad's cars and we have yet to have any tread problems. On my old Explorer I had 265/70R16 Michelin Cross Terrains and I liked them, but so far the bridgestones have me even more impressed, plus they look a lot better in my opinion.

As for the Scorpion tires....the factor should be what conditions you use the tires in. If you don;t see any snow or only see light snow and keep your truck on road the scorpions may be good for you, but the scorpions are not very good in the snow from what I hear.

it isnt an issue at all..... the whole ford/firestone thing was a big crap by both companies..... firestone did have some defective tires... but there number of defect ones to the number of perfect ones are on par with all the other manufacturers..... Ford did say to run the tires at 26 psi....way too little for a 4300 # truck...

the dueler at revos are supposed to be pretty good... i doubt they will trully perform like an all terrain though.... they just dont look aggresive enough..... however, for a street daily driven truck, i think they should kick butt.....

Bridgestone makes a great tire. I run them on all of my cars and currently have the M/Ts on my Ranger. Bridgestone's have never let me down off-road.

I am interested to see how the REVOs perform. They have a more aggressive tread than the A/Ts which themselves are a great tire.

I head back to Michigan saturday and they are supposed to get snow this weekend so hopefully I can let you guys know how they do in the snow soon. The tire in the picture actually does not do the tire justice. The areas between the center lugs and the next row is large enough to fit one of my fingers in laying down. this tire has huge areas between the lugs and I hope it helps it do well in the snow.

Well here in the Phoenix area snow isn't usually a problem so I'm not too concerned with their snow handling. I spend much more time in the desert and rocks than I do in the snow. Looking over Pirelli's web-site it appears that the Scorpion Zero are for predominately on-road applications (that won't work for me). What I am looking for is an aggressive A/T tire of the same or slightly smaller diameter than my current 265 75R16s but I want a bit wider. I will probably either go with a 275 70R16 or 285 65R16. Unfortunately the 285s are usually more of a performance tire rather than an off-road tire.

UPDATE: Last ngiht I drove in the snow with these tires. I felt they did an excellent job..felt like they gripped better then my Michelins last year (The michelins were brand new too) It was tough to get them to loose traction. i also parked in a snowdrift and had no problem just backing out of it when it was time to leave. Definatly very happy with these..we'll see how they do as more snow comes.

Friday night I did some high speed highway driving. These tires were quiet and rode well. Still feel nicer then the goodyears RT/S and are not any lounder. I was cruising at 75 most of the way to school...

Very impressed with a tire classified as Off-road All Terrain. my boss tells me the BFG AT KO is very loud and i hear of problems with the goodyear AT/S so I figured this tire was a good alternative...it sure was!

hey wut are some of the problems wit the goodyear at/s i would like to know since i have them did i screw up by buying them

thnx

I hear they are impossable to balance and some have reported sidewall bubbles after a few years

oh mine balanced with out ne problem and ive only had them a couple months and havent put much miles on them
but thnx for the info

some just said that as the tire wears they get tough to balance and once you get ove r65 MPH you can feel the imbalance...

mine were perfect, i had them for almost 2 years. (265/75/16 RT/S)

Robert: how come you dont get some 33s or something since you have all that lift?

i want them.. how much did u pay for them.. ?

I paid $549 from the Firestone place in my town. She quoted me $620 at first but asked how the other quotes were i was getting. I tolds her I found a quote for $$570 (From tirerack) and she said she would beat it. i was very happy. i had a few quotes as high as $750 or $800 at some places. just call around.

I don't want to cut my wheel wells anymore than I alread have to get 33s to fit and I don't want to re-gear. With 33s I would have to re-gear to 4.56s to get back to my stock gear ratio. I don't have the $800-$1000 extra to do the gears with the tires. With my 32s I have a hard enough time pulling 4000 lbs up to 8000 ft. in elevation. The 33s would only make it worse.

pics?
