just ordered h.i.d's

i just ordered a set of these h.i.d lights for my 2000 explorer.are they a ok brand or a good set to go with? i chose the 10,000k color bulbs.heres a link.....

I wouldn't run 10ks. You lose a fairly dramatic amount of light vs 5-6k lights.

yea i was kinda thinking that.it says on the ebay page if you want performance go with 4-6k if you want looks do the 10-12k.and if you want both use 6-8k.i just want a lot of the h.i.d./blue look so i figured the 10,oook would do the best.but i also want to be able to see.i got fog lights to help a little.i already ordered them last night.im not sure if i can change them to the 8,000k.i guess i can get the ones i ordered and if i can't see well,i'll just return them.

well best of luck with them, i have 8000ks. i wish i had went with 5-6000ks.

i had 10k's in my last car and in my streebike and love them...will be going with the same in both the lows and fogs in my explorer...tempted to even go 20k in the fogs. the 10k was still a major increase in light output and the blue just looks so good in my opinion. seems to me like alot of people talk down on them without ever trying them for themselves...obviously they wont be AS good as the 6k but they are still MUCH BETTER.

yea right now i just gor some of them 9007 headlight bulbs that got a lot of blue tint on the bulb.i mean they look cool,they are that white with a blue tint look.but the vision isn't all that great with them.maybe i will get some h.i.d's for my fog lights.if so i'll get 10,000k to match the head lights.
