So, I just tracked down some history for my 2door. I now have most, if not all, service records for the truck from roughly 40k-105k miles. I also have performed all of the service myself from 125k-136k (where I sit now). There is no service history prior to December 2003 at around 40k miles sadly. But, I found out around 46k, service technicians reported the tranny fluid to be burned. Finally at 60k the owner had the transmission flushed. The invoice names it a "Major transmission flush with Mercon V." It's nice to have some of the history so I can make more informed decisions about how I service the vehicle. The owner seemed to be pretty good about oil changes every 3-5k which is incredibly helpful. Their service records die around 2012, however they owned the car until 2018 when it was sold to my grandma and then handed down to me in 2022. Transmission def feels a little like it's seen better days, but at least I know that it's still roughly within spec for a full flush should I decide to do one. I'll likely update this as I discover more. I am writing my service knowledge and history into a google doc. I stopped around 66k miles. Hopefully, as I continue to move through the many invoices, I don't find anything super alarming that I need to watch out for. Thanks for reading this y'all!

How did you do it? Carfax? Dealership? Just curious

Technically my stepmoms car. Her mom had the history when buying the car from the 2nd owner (the only one who documented anything). We thought we had lost it but apparently my stepmom found it while digging some other old paperwork up.
