i think my last update was before June. over the summer a lot of stuff happened some good and some not so good.
We'll start with the bad, Both my trans and transfer case went. Transmission was 1300 to be rebuilt with a shift kit. The transfer case was 250 for the case, and about 15 dollars in random other stuff that i needed to install it with. the reason the transfer case went was because i abused the BWM which i will be reversing when i get the time to pull the dash apart again. Like it was said in guide, you can't really do much with it. otherwise it strips out the case, and i did it a little too much. so that's why that went. but because of that, when i went wheeling i got stuck up to the rear axle because 4wd didn't work, and in trying to get unstuck the lower sprag on the transmission that connects it to the transmission case stripped.(i think... that's what the guy at the trans shop said i did... ) anyways. around all this happening... there was some good
I bedlined my front and rear bumpers as well as the pillars next to the rear hatch window.
I think that makes the truck look a lot better then that ugly gray. i'm still in process of deciding what i'm doing with the trim. Possibly a trade or maybe just painting it.
I also got a new head unit. Nothing special, it's a dual dvd8183 it plays dvds it's a flip out, but the main reason i got it is, it's a bluetooth, so i don't have cops pulling me over for being on the phone anymore.

i Also had my tail pipes run. There is an immense difference between with and without in noise inside and outside as well as performance. it's not a rocket ship, but it's not a snail anymore either.
And i think my favorite little tid bit that i did just because it's different and i don't think anyone else has done it. is this.

they give off a large amount of light and i use them as "puddle lights" they're my version because a 97 did no have that luxury.
one other thing i happened to do was paint some of the skids underneath i think they came out pretty good...

- Tinted tails
- Tinted turn signals
- Added a hitch
- Painted the calipers again
- Duralast Cmax gold brake pads on rear
- Expedition tow Hooks
- Removed Carpet in back with hopes of Bed lining it.
