My wife will be shopping for the weekend so if'n ya'll wanna come over Friday Night, we could get to Ks rocks at a decent hour on the morning of the 7th.
Afterward we could either stop in Iola for dinner or have a cookout. I have some firewood for a back yard fire, and have been cleaning up the dog poo daily.
Bring and air mattress for first come first serve floor space. gmanpaint already called dibs on the big spare bed but I also have a spare twin bed, and a sofa.
Bring your refreshment of choice. Since the wife is away this will probably not be a "family" friendly event. Plan accordingly please.

If we run out of room here, I copied the list of area facilities.
The official campground for Kansas rocks Park is Lake Francis.

I guess they rent cabins and RV's

If you have a camper, there is a campground with electric and dump station 6 blocks from our house, in the city park. $5.00 per night for electric, but No tents allowed.

I am not sure if the cabin rental is for an overnight or day only use.
Or pitch tents on the front yard.
