keyless entry remote battery

how do i change the battery on my keyless entry remote? it is the one that has 3 buttons (unlock, lock, panic). there is no removable panel. do i have to take the whole thing apart?

You should see a little hole. Stick something in there and gently pry. The top and bottom will come apart and you change the battery that way. Everything snaps back together when done.

Using a thin, flat blade screwdriver, gently pry apart the two halves of the remote starting near the keyring hole. This will give you access to the battery.

To reassemble after replacing the battery, simply line up the two halves and press them together firmly.

Just work the screwdriver blade in wherever you can get a fit. (Some folks jhave even used a dime to pry the halves apart.) It will come apart quite easily and a replacement battery can be found at any RadioShack or Staples.
