Knock at idle

The previous owner could have put high viscosity oil in to mask the noise. Cheap and dirty trick that works on all motors. Put a heavy oil in and you can make a worn out old 350 sound likes it's purring away and had a easy life.

A spun bearing should be producing metal glitter like flakes in the oil.

If it is a spun bearing would there be metal flakes/glitter in about 500 miles? I'll do another oil change then just to be sure. But I didn't see any glitter or flakes or anything in this oil. But the oil was pretty clean like it might have been changed not to long ago.

Any update?

My morning knock was a lot louder today. When I give it more gas, the knock delays its increase.
I put it in drive and the knock went away.

Wonder if it isn't a TC issue.
