L/F Door Speaker Inop.

I have a 96 Explorer and the left front door speaker is inop. I have swapped speakers with a known good one. I have also checked for power with a test light. I have power at the orange/green wire and when I probe the blue/white wire the speaker comes on really light. I'm assuming a faulty ground or short somewhere? Anybody have this problem or know a great place to start looking?

Had this problem with my '02 X. The head unit died, altogether, a few weeks later.
