LED Door Light

Hello, I'm new to this whole car mods and such scene. I got some led lights, and I wanted to have them turn on with the dome and interior lights from the doors being opened or the car being unlocked.
If anyone knows of any way to do this or an existing thread that explains, that would be great as I'm looking forward to this.

LED strip with 2 wires, rated at 12v

If you have mirror/puddle lamps, just tap right into those.
Otherwise, tap in at the switch for +12V. The black/light blue wire is the Door trigger.

Those would be inside the rubber tubing between the door and the car I would assume. Right?

Yup, or at the actual door light. Check if blue/black is 12V- or 12V+.
Orange/Green may be 12V+.
