Help with led lights

I'm trying to install strips of blue led lighting to the floor boards in my 04 Explorer but I want them to be wired into the dome lights anyone know of an easy way of doing it?

If you have mirror/puddle lamps, just tap right into those.
Otherwise, tap in at the switch for +12V. The black/light blue wire is the Door trigger.

I don't have any puddle lights. The black with the light blue wire is screwed into the wall almost as if it was a ground. But there is also a green wire with orange stripe on it.

Green and Orange is also for dome lights. I may have reversed the wire polarity off the top of my head.
I think you're right about the Blue/Black being the ground.
