LED Style mirrors

Okay so a friend of mine just got repacement mirrors, and they have LED on them. After looking I cannot find any for the explorer. so is there any or am I not finding them? thx for any help

No I meant a whole replacement mirror, I found some that I like but they say only fits ranger from 97-01, wouldn't that fit in the Explorer too?

I'd stray away from those. I've installed a couple pairs of those on friends' vehicles and after a short length of time they have crapped out or otherwise failed. They are poor quality. Besides, the shape of the housing is going to look very "out of place" on an Explorer and/or Ranger.

It may not be your first choice, but I'd go after the signal mirrors (that were linked in one of the previous posts). A few members have made threads on installing these. They are a lot higher quality and maintain the stock look which will deter any pesky local fuzz or garages performing your yearly inspection.

ha inspection, whats that, this is oklahoma lol, friends had some on his prelude for months and they've been fine, but what about being able to put ranger mirrors on an explorer, because if that's still an option I may keep looking until I find a really nice pair.

If not, I'm gonna have to find a pair of puddle mirrors, and get the signal glass for those.
