LED Turn Signals Blinking at an Extremely Rapid Pace

I installed two (left and right Front) turn signals this evening - they're 3156, 12-LED Amber lights. They look and work great; the only problem is, when I turn them on, they blink on and off at a highly rapid rate.

Normal turn signals blink on an off every second or two; these blink about 10 times per second...any advice or help with this?
