left rear control arm bushing...

Any one tackle these before? Had my mountaineer aligned after rebuilding the front end. They also did the rear alignment. Told me the left lower bushing is wore. Told me it would be $660 to replace. I left it go for now. I can wear out 4 tires for that price, I had no wear issues on the rear before anyways. I haven't looked under there yet, but if the job isn't bad I may just do it myself.

If you mean the rear lower control arm then it's easy DIY. The difficult part is finding the correct replacement bushing size. I guess that $600 is for the price of a new control arm.
