on a right-hand drive vehicle, is the gas on the right side or the left?

No Lacky we have to have a passenger in the left seat to push the pedals !!! LOL. Sorry cheap gag, i know what you mean.
Yes the gas pedal is still on the right side and brake pedal on the left. In the UK the shifter is on the tranny tunnel tho not the steering column.
