out of my mind...
Year, Model & Trim Level

Well with aproaching 29k on my stock p6's its about time to start lookin for a replacement. they still have a touch over 2/32 on em, but i dont really want to run them much past the wear bars

anyway, i know the p6 is an alright tire, but i know its not a great one. im looking for something thats going to be a step up, but not really break the bank either. I am not planing on runing seperate snow tires, and i need a M+S as this is my primary mode of transportation.

Since the pirellis have been relatively good to me one of my considerations is the pzero nero, wich although a little pricyer then some of the others ive seen ive read good things about

looking to see if anyone here has some input

Bridgestone Potenza's RE960's are one of the top rated tires and they are rated significantly better than the Pirelli's. Tire rack has them for about $75 each.

:bsnicker:I say you go with some MUDDERS:crazy:

^^^ Great tire choice, although not available in 205/50r16...

Continental Contitrac!!!

Great tires. I had them on my Audi that I just got rid of for my Explorer.
The Audi had AWD and coilovers (had it dropped about 2 inches)
Those tires gripped like no tomorrow!!! In the rain, snow, turns. And I got them for $405 mounted balanced and aligned!!

Essex4x4, I am guessing that the 205/50r16 is the correct size from the 2007 SES ZX4 I read in http://www.explorerforum.com/forums//showthread.php?t=193471, until SuRrEaLNJ chimes in and shoots me down.

yup, 205/50/16 is the corect size for me

although, 185/65-14, 195/60-15, and 215/45-17 are all also oem sizes

something that i shoulda pointed out in the original post, but didnt is that i was looking at either ultrahigh or high performance all seasons

I keep hearing amazing things about the bfg g-force super sport a/s from all over the place, so i think thats the way im gonna go...

i seem to be becoming a bfg fan anyway...

$405 mounted balanced and aligned!!

and just for the sake of mentioning, i dont think id trust anyone who mounted balanced and aligned for that... i know i get 2.2hrs for an align alone, and when i was still doin tires used to get .5 a tire or somethin like that

forgot to mention i got the tires at whole sale
