What the hell are you working on Saturday for??

Why don't you come over here and help me get the damn S spring back in the Trac-Loc:mad:

The recruiting world never stops. It's okay though, the tax payers are paying me an extra $450 a month to work one or two Staurdays a month :D.

Hopefully I'll be out of here about 1:00 pm or so. I have to drive down to Tenino to see if the parts mustang has a power steering hydraulic control valve that I can salvage. A couple of days ago I cross threaded the hydraulic fitting and stripped out the pressure port reinstalling the unit in the mustang, rendering it useless :( So now I have to either find another one to rebuild or I'm out $200 for a reman unit.

How did the S spring get out of the Trac-Loc? and/or Why is the S spring out of the Trac-Loc?

I'll call you when I get out of here to see if you still need help.

New clutch plates.

Now the rear brake line is fighting me. The OEM one has been stretched too many times so I bought a longer braided one but the old one doesn't want to come off. Gotta let the PB Blaster soak in a while.

I would invest in a line wrench too. I only have one, but I use it every time I am messing with those brake lines. As soon as the regular wrench even threatens to slip, I spend an hour looking for that damn line wrench. I never remember which tool box its in(Explorer, garage, backup in shed) . I should go buy another one for the main toolbox.

Got the S spring back in (whew!) Starting to clean up the cover and seal the sucker up.

I was/am using a line wrench:rolleyes:

omg its hot lol so rear ends done no i just got a few little things lol like figureing out why it boggs on a hill lol and why the oil presure and temp is everywere lol dam liberty is sneeking up on me:scratch:

How much room is there at the campsite? Thinking of bringing the motorhome (38.5 foot) with the jeep in tow and the ex-250 behind the dodge...

Check the link we posted, there are a couple of pictures. The open areas are certainly big enough I think the turns have a wide enough radius for it, wide enough for Kevins F350 w/X in tow.

Last time we were there I remember a quite large 5th wheel trailer being there. My Brother-in-law is coming too and he's packing an F-350 towing a 24ft enclosed trailer. I think we'll all fit just fine.

List and sizes

We're going to need a list of the sizes of the combos coming so I make sure to set up in an area big enough for all of us.

DWD - F-350 w/ 20ft trailer
Painter Ken - F350 plus 24ft enclosed (Our two are the same length all hooked up)
arsoul - Dodge w/ 20ft trailer
arsoul dad - 38.5 ft motor home (flat towing jeep I think)
85bronco2man - F-150 w/ 21ft trailer
SnowExploder - Dodge w/ 16ft trailer

Most of the trailers can be disconnected and parked outside the general camping area. The only exception would be Painter Ken who's enclosed trailer doubles as his camper, so his f-350 can be parked outside camp.

check with snow exploder cause there dodge/ 20 ft trailer if she is comming for sure
chime in katie lol

Oops, I knew I was forgetting somebody. Sorry Katie. But Ryan, I think she's only got like a 16 foot trailer. I added it to the list.

o yeah lol forgot he shortend his well i'm 21 feet :D

Looks like I'll be coming up one quad short. Dad went up there today to check the area out on the quads with a buddy of his. His buddy rolled our polaris 500 down a mountain and off a 50 foot cliff. Luckily he was only under the quad for 2 of the rolls and didnt go down the mountain as well.

Went up where? Liberty??

Yeah pretty damn lucky. The last time we went, a kid had backed off a 500ft cliff in the dark. Needless to say he didn't make it.
