I have a 2001 Mountaineer, 5.0 AWD, and if I'm not mistaken it has the same suspension as the explorer. I am looking to do a lift, however all I have found is a superlift kit that will cost me around 3k to do properly, that is with the upgraded drive shaft. I did the whole torsion bar twist and block in the rear but it made some serious noises and vibrated like hell, I figured that was the drive shaft. Anyone out there have advice or know of other alternatives? Really looking to do about a 3" sporting 32s. Currently running: 265/75/16 with a small torsion bar adjustment in front just to give me additional clearance. Looks good just want to go a little bigger.
