Buying a 2001 Mountaineer

Well I am finally taking the plunge since I do so much driving and getting a newer nicer truck. Found a 2001 Mercury Mountaineer, V8, AWD, 68,000 miles for $7,000.00 Im getting it next Friday, put deposit down today. This thing is nice!! and rides SO much better than the 95. Im excited to get it and start moddin!

By the way they only wanted to give me $600 for the 95 on trade in, so I have it up for sale on here if anybody is interested.

They're AWD or 2WD, assuming you've got a 5.0 V8. The selectable 4WD is only available mated to a 4.0L SOHC V6. You're in better hands with the V8.
